He encouraged (鼓励) Amelia to get up and guided her back to the trail (路线). When night fell, Nanook didn’t leave Amelia. He stayed outside her tent to keep her safe. Amelia fell into an icy river on the third day. Nanook came to help her again. The husky jumped in and pulled her to safety. With Nanook’s help, the woman finally got saved. She said excitedly, “I believe the dog is my guardian angel (守护天使) and I’ll never forget him.”
