　1、能听说并认读本课的单词，短语和句型。

　2、通过这课让学生了解如何用英语借书。

　3.学会在借书时正确使用礼貌用语，发展语言的听说能力和写作； 情感目标：通过教师的引导，培养学生爱读书的好习惯提高学生的学习兴趣和参与课堂活动的积极性，养成良好的学习习惯和习惯用礼貌用语。

　教学重点：

　图书馆借书的日常用语。

　教学难点：

　情态动词的运用。

　教具、学具：

　寓言故事书几本，单词卡，课件媒体等等。

　教学过程：

　一、热身、复习。

　1、Free talk. 2、以游戏形式复习，通过图片、单词比赛让学生回忆学校部分的名称，Such as:headmaster’s,office,teachers’room,clinic,canteen,school gate,library,gym,music room,comprter room,etc. 引出话题 Library. 二、呈现与操练。

　1、情景导入：设置图书馆借书的情景，呈现课题：

　Free talk: (1)Do you like reading story-books or ancient fables?( 出 示 古 代 寓 言 的 书 并 教 会 学 生 单词:ancient,fable)(2)Do you often borrow books from our library?(3) Do you have a library card?(出示借书证并学习library card) T: Today we are going to learn how to borrow books. What would you say if you want to borrow a book at the library? What would the assisstant in the library say when you want

　to borrow books? 让学生尝试回答上述问题。

　2、呈现课文：

　设计图书馆的情景，教师向班级图书管理员借书。

　重点引导学生提问，然后学习句子：How long may I keep it? Can I keep the book a little longer?

　学习：You mustn’t lend it to others. You must come and renew it. 教师归纳图书管理员（assistant）用于和借书人有用语：

　(1) Can I borrow…? (2) How long can I keep it? (3) You must come to renew it. (4) You mustn’t lend it to others. 三、巩固操练。

　1、带读转换角色，由教师扮演图书管理员，由学生向教师借书，课文，让学生两人对练； 2、教师先给关键词刘学生尝试进行借书的表演：

　Assistant: Can I help you? Pupil: Yes. Do you have…? Assistant: Let me see. Here… Pupil: Here’s my …

　How long can I keep it? Assistant: … But you mustn’t lend it to others. Pupil: Can I … a little longer? Assistant: … you must come and renew it.

　3、让学生初步理解 must, mustn’t 的用法。

　四、让学生在小组里操练句型并指名表演。

　五、布置作业。

　1、抄写并记忆新单词。

　2、收集已经学过的动词（组）及过去式。(get up-----got up) 3、听并尝试表演课文。

　4、《活动手册》Unit 10,Ex.1,3.
